You may have heard the term “religion” described as an instituion, a set of beliefs relied upon in the absence of reason or even as a social construct, but you might be surprised to learn what the Bible has to say on the matter.  It’s not what you might think!

 

 

“Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world” (James 1:27, NKJV).

Now try critiquing that!  If you want to dig further into this discussion, study the free online lesson and come prepared to discuss with other sincere learners this next Saturday.

Worship services start at 10:00AM with our Sabbath School (where we discuss the lesson) starting at 11:30AM. Join us and consider Him.
